Thursday dawned a bright, sunny day--the view from the RV Park in Cantwell. Love the fireweed in the foreground, which grows everywhere in Alaska!
I loved the entrance to the park, especially the wheelbarrow full of flowers! They even had some Alaska scrapbooking stickers in the little store in the office, and the owner and I chatted about scrapbooking for a while--fun!
On our drive along the Parks Highway to Anchorage, we made a few stops. This was the Alaska Veteran's Memorial, where we spent quite a bit of time. Ernie looking at the Navy memorial
Denali Viewpoint South--Mt. McKinley is behind those clouds somewhere!

Hi, I have enjoyed reading about your adventure. I bought my camper a few days after you did from Sean. Sean talked about you two and your trip and sent me the link so I could follow along. It was been great. Please have a safe journey and I look forward to more installments.
